Diamonds in the Rough: Summer Camp 2026
Shine. Grow. Transform.
At Diamonds in the Rough Summer Camp, we believe every girl is born with brilliance.
Life may challenge her.
Circumstances may test her.
But her shine is never lost — it simply needs refinement.
Our 9th Annual 7-Day, 6-Night enrichment experience is designed to equip girls with the confidence, life skills, leadership training, and sisterhood they need to grow into the women they are becoming.
From college tours and CPR certification to financial literacy, STEAM, wellness, and communication development — this is more than a camp.
It is a space for discovery.
A foundation for leadership.
A commitment to growth.

Frequently Asked Questions
Wondering if Diamonds in the Rough is the right fit? We’ve got answers.
What is the daily schedule like for campers?
Each day at camp is thoughtfully planned to balance learning, exploration, and fun. Campers follow a themed agenda, which is shared digitally so families can see what’s happening throughout the week. While some activities may change, parents are always kept informed and are welcome to visit at any time (note: some activities may require an additional fee).
Days include workshops, field trips, team-building exercises, personal development sessions focused on leadership, confidence, and life skills, as well as meals, recreation, and reflection time — all designed to create a well-rounded and engaging experience for every camper.
What should campers bring with them for the week?
Campers should bring comfortable clothing suitable for both indoor and outdoor activities, closed-toe shoes, personal hygiene items, a refillable water bottle, any required medications, and a positive attitude ready for growth. A detailed packing list will be provided to registered campers to ensure they have everything needed for a safe and enjoyable week.
How are campers supervised throughout the week?
Campers are supervised at all times by trained staff, mentors, and volunteers. The camper-to-staff ratio is designed to ensure safety, guidance, and individual attention. Our team is committed to creating a supportive, inclusive environment where every camper feels seen, heard, and valued.
How does camp handle medical or emergency situations?
Safety is our top priority. Most of our camp staff are trained in first aid, and all campers’ medical information is securely maintained. In the event of an emergency, parents or guardians are contacted immediately, and appropriate care is arranged as quickly as possible.
Can campers participate if they have never attended a camp before?
Absolutely! Diamonds in the Rough welcomes first-time campers. Our programs are designed to be inclusive and supportive, helping every girl feel comfortable, confident, and excited to participate. Campers are guided at their own pace, ensuring they have a positive and empowering experience from day one.
Are there opportunities for campers to stay in touch after camp ends?
Yes! We encourage ongoing connection through mentorship programs, alumni events, and virtual meet-ups. These opportunities allow campers to continue building friendships, leadership skills, and a supportive network long after the summer ends.
How can I get involved as a volunteer for Diamonds in the Rough?
Volunteers are essential to the success of our camp. There are multiple ways to get involved, including serving as a camp leader, assisting with workshops, supporting field trips, or helping with administrative tasks. Volunteer opportunities are designed to match your skills, availability, and interest in empowering girls to reach their full potential.
